Pupillage Q&A Evening: Your Questions Answered

Law Simplified presents its very first student event, Pupillage Q & A Evening. We had up to 100 candidates register for the event. We were joined by our specialist panel, Mary Prior QC, Sahar Farooqi and Brad Lewis, who all answered questions submitted by our participants, and provided lots of valuable tips and advice on completing the pupillage application form.

We received over 150 questions from our registrants, which were carefully sifted through and separated into eight key areas. In order to ensure everyone left the event with their answers, we reworded the questions as broadly as possible. We ended with a quick fire-round for 15 minutes, with each panellist given a minute to answer a question.

Q&A Evening: Training Contracts & Beyond

Law Simplified proudly presents ‘Q & A Evening; Training contracts and Beyond.’ We were recently joined by Senior Associates and a Partner from top international law firms to answer your questions about training contracts and beyond.

Our panel included Sohail Ali (Partner at DLA Piper), Mandeep Chima (Senior Associate at Shoosmiths) and Omar Shafi (Senior Associate at Herbert Smith Freehills) who have considerable years of practising experience. They answered questions about training contract applications/interviews, life after training, commercial realities of being associates and they provided tips on establishing successful careers. This event was for aspiring solicitors, training contract offer holders and junior solicitors.
